Driving the Transition to MCS

  1. Increased Power for CCS: To facilitate the transition to MCS, current CCS power levels for heavy-duty vehicles are being elevated, enabling the market to gradually adopt full MCS functionality.
  2. Dual Strategy: Coexistence of MCS and high-power CCS is essential for OEMs and EV supply manufacturers to advance the shift toward zero-emission road transport.
  3. Flexibility and Dynamic Power Distribution: Unused power from the MCS can be dynamically allocated to high-power CCS outputs within the same system, ensuring maximum efficiency and supporting the transition to widespread MCS adoption.

Configuration Highlights

  1. Proven Technology: The first iteration of the XEV Megawatt Charging System includes a XEV Mega Satellite and peak power of 1.2 MW, based on XEV's advanced charging technology.
  2. Maximum Flexibility: The Mega Satellite supports both MCS and high-power CCS connections, enabling seamless dynamic power sharing between outputs.
  3. Upgradability: Existing XEV systems can be upgraded to MCS by integrating two 600 kW XEV Power Units.
